Terms and conditions of sale

1. Purpose

These terms and conditions govern the temporary hire of the spaces at Le Palais Michel Ange, located at 3 rue Michel Ange in Cannes, together with any associated services ordered. They apply to every booking, unless specific conditions are expressly agreed by both parties.

2. Quotes and booking confirmation

Every enquiry gives rise to a personalised quote setting out the space booked, the date, the timings, the number of guests and the services selected. The booking becomes firm once the client returns the quote dated and signed, together with payment of the deposit stated on the quote. Spaces are not held before this confirmation.

3. Prices

Prices are quoted individually, based on the space, duration, layout and services requested, and are expressed in euros. Any additional service requested before or during the event will be invoiced separately.

4. Payment

A deposit is payable on signature of the quote; the balance is payable by the due date stated on the quote. Payment terms and accepted payment methods are set out on the quote and invoice. Late payment may incur interest as provided by law.

5. Cancellation and changes

Any cancellation must be notified in writing. Cancellation terms and the treatment of the deposit are set out on the quote. Requests to change the date, timings or number of guests are subject to availability and may result in a price adjustment. In the event of force majeure, the parties will first seek to reschedule.

6. Use of the spaces

The client undertakes to use the spaces for their intended purpose, within the maximum capacity stated on the quote, and in compliance with safety rules and respect for neighbours and the building. The spaces are returned in the condition in which they were made available. Any damage identified will be invoiced to the client.

7. External suppliers

The involvement of external suppliers (catering, technical, decoration, entertainment) is subject to prior approval by Le Palais Michel Ange. The client remains responsible for their work, their installations and their departure within the agreed timings.

8. Insurance and liability

The client confirms holding public liability insurance for the event and will provide proof on request. Le Palais Michel Ange cannot be held liable for theft, loss of or damage to personal belongings brought by the client, their guests or their suppliers.

9. Personal data

Data provided with a quote request is processed solely to manage the commercial relationship. Details of this processing are set out in our legal notice.

10. Governing law and disputes

These terms are governed by French law. In the event of a dispute, the parties will seek an amicable settlement before any legal action.
